FIFA 16 Specs, Reviews, and Release Date

Yes, in the upcoming football simulation video game, FIFA 16, published by EA Sports - 12 Women's National Teams from all over the world will be included and these teams will come from Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Sweden, and the United States.

And this request has reportedly reached over 20,000 signatures in just 24 hours!  

Vice president and general manager of EA Sports David Rutter said in a statement reported by BBC Sport, "Bringing some of the best women's players and teams in the world to our franchise is a massive event for EA Sports."

"To be one of the first female players included is something we'll always be able to look back on," said the 27-year old England team captain Steph Houghton who will join her teammates in the latest video game from EA Games. "Hopefully it will help raise the profile of the women's game even further," said the Manchester City defender.

As English footballer Eniola Aluko said to BBC Sport, "I think it shows where the [women's] game's going in terms of how fans can engage with us in a game. It's really cool although it's a bit weird to do all pictures and facial expressions but it will be nice to see how it will all turn out. My little brother will be very excited to play me on FIFA. He'll find it fascinating. I'm excited to see his reaction."

American football player Alex Morgan for her part said on the official FIFA 16 website, "It is such an honor for women's players and our team to be included in FIFA 16. I always wondered what it would be like to see our team in the game and it is very cool to know that it is now a reality."

As expected, football plays will still be based from gender where Men's National Teams can only compete against the best of the best of other country's Men's National Teams, and likewise for the Women's National Teams.

FIFA 16 will be available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Android and iOS, this coming September 22, 2015 in North America and September 24, 2015 in Europe.
